When I was 15 years old I got my hands on my first Mac. A MacBook Pro with OS X 10.6. The simplicity and coherent experience made me switch from Windows to the Apple ecosystem. I always thought that I’d work in the computer industry but I quickly became very passionate of everything Apple.
I was excited to hear that I was allowed to start at Lab9, an Apple Premium Reseller in Belgium as a repair technician. Helping people with their Apple devices felt more as a hobby than a job. During the 5 years I was employed at Lab9, I became responsible for all Mac and iOS related repairs of the store in Roeselare as well as the management of RMA and DOA products from various suppliers for the 5 Lab9 stores. From time to time I helped the sales team within the store as well and I worked with our Store Manager to ensure that our store met all requirements for store audits.
After 5 years I wanted to broaden my skillset. I joined the service team of Online Grafics (the parent company of Lab9) helping them with Mac and iOS repairs whilst also gaining experience with Apple MDM, ZuluDesk, JAMF, Windows Server, Kerio, Fortigate, Ruckus, Sophos and much more. I became responsible for the IT of the 5 Lab9 stores as well.
